Email Client Support/Setup for ClarisConfiguring Claris
- Run Claris E-mailer by double clicking the program icon.
- Go to the Setup pull-down menu and choose Internet Setup.
- You will see the following screen.
- Enter the following information:
- Account Name - Enter your username in all lower case.
- User Name - Enter your username which can be the same as the Account Name.
- Email Address - Enter your e-mail address like: username@dialup4less.com.
- Email Account - Enter your e-mail account like: username@dialup4less.com.
- Email Password - Enter your password.
- SMTP host - mail.dialup4less.com
- Click Save.
Checking Mail
- Go to your Mail/Connect Now menu.
- You will see the following screen.
- Click Connect to have Claris Emailer retrieve your mail. When it does, you will see the following screen.
- To read a message, simply double click the one you want to read.
Sending Mail
- Go to the Mail/New pull-down menu.
- You will see the following screen.
- Type the subject of your message in the Subject field located at the top of the screen.
- Fill in the Recipient field with the name of the person you wish to email.
- Enter the e-mail address of the person you wish to e-mail in the Address field.
- Write your message in the large space provided.
- When done, click the Send Now button at the top of the screen.
