Email Client Support/Setup for OS X MailConfiguring OS X Mail
- Go to the Mail menu and select Preferences....
- Click on Create Account.
Complete the following fields.
- Account Type - Select "POP Account".
- Description - Enter a name for the mailbox.
- Email Address - Enter your email address. For example, username@dialup4less.com
- Full Name - Enter the name that people will see when they receive a message from you.
- Host Name - Enter your incoming mail server, mail.dialup4less.com
- Username - Enter the username for the email account. your username is username
- Password - Enter the password for the account
- SMTP Host - mail.dialup4less.com
- Make sure that the "Use authentication when sending mail" checkbox is checked.
- Click OK.
